TouchDrive Multiple Frames Configuration
You can connect multiple Carbonite frames to the same TouchDrive control panel.
When connecting multiple frames to the same control panel, all frames must be of a specific base version of software, or higher, that supports this feature. If the frame is running a version of software that is not compatible a Version Mismatch! message appears on the mnemonics.

Keep the following in mind:
Keep the following in mind when working with multiple frames connected to the same panel:
- Switcher 1 is the primary frame that the panel connects to and provides all the primary connection points.
- Panel brightness is take only from the Switcher 1 frame.
- If a switcher frame does not have certain features or functionality, those items will not appear on the modules of the panel row the switcher is assigned to.
- You can assign user select buttons from the switcher frame to assign a panel row to a specific frame or bus on a frame.
- If you assign a user select button to assign a panel row to a different switcher frame, remember to assign a user select button from the other frame to assign the panel row back.
- Bus map changes and assignments must be done from the frame the panel row is assigned to. This is done either from the menus for that frame or from the row when it is assigned to the frame.
- The menus, positioner, and 3-knob menu follow the active element as normal with the addition of that element may be on a different frame.
- The Panel lock function applies to the panel buttons regardless of the frame the buttons are assigned to.
- Panel row glow colors are take from the switcher frame the row is assigned to.
