- SDPE Slot
  The SDPE blades can be moved to different slots in the Ultrix™ chassis or assigned different ME numbers.
- SDPE Reboot
  Manually reboot an SDPE blade.
- SDxE Installation
  - To Remove an SDxE Blade
    To make room for the new SDxE blade, you must power off the frame and remove the old blades or blank plates from the slot.
  - To Install an SDxE Blade
    With the old blade removed, and the power still off and disconnected, you can install the new blade.

SDxE Installation

The Software Defined xRossCompute Engine (SDxE) provides the hardware resources for the 3D DVE Warp engine in the Ultrix Acuity switcher. If you are installing a new SDxE blade into the system the system will automatically detect and upgrade the blade.

To install the SDxE blade you must power off the frame, remove any existing blades from the slots, install the SDxE blade, and power on the frame.

Important: Contact Ross Video Technical Support before moving a blade to a different slot.
