To Set Up Audio Override CCs

The Assign Audio CC events can be used on an Audio CC Bank to override the current AFV assignments.

Note: You must have an audio mixer set up as an external device to control the audio channels associated with video sources.
  1. Press HOME > Custom Controls.

    If the custom control button is grayed out, the custom control menu is being displayed on another control panel connected to the switcher.

  2. Use the Bank and Button knobs to select the custom control that you want to record to.
    1. Use the Bank knob to select the Audio bank. Refer to To Set Up a Custom Control Bank for information on setting up an Audio bank.
    2. Use the Button knob to select the custom control button that you want to assign an audio channel to.
      Tip: Assign audio channels or groups to the custom control button that lines up with the video source that is associated with the audio. This makes it easier to visualize the audio sources and their corresponding video.
  3. Press Start Recording.
  4. Press Insert Event > Special and use the Function knob to select Assign Audio.
  5. Use the Group knob to select the channel or group that you want to control.
  6. Press Insert Event > Up One > Finish Recording.
  7. Repeat these steps for the remaining audio channels you want to assign to buttons.
