Ultrix Carbonite Mosaic Setup
The Ultrix™ router must be set up to support the Ultrix Carbonite Mosaic on the Software Defined Production Engine (SWR-SDPE) blade. This includes setup of the Ultripower units, DashBoard connections, the matrix database, and the Ultriscape Multi-Viewer.
Ultrix Carbonite Mosaic Hardware Setup
The router and switcher components of Ultrix Carbonite Mosaic must be set up separately before they can work together.

Ultrix Carbonite Mosaic Setup
The Ultrix™ router must be set up to support the Ultrix Carbonite Mosaic on the Software Defined Production Engine (SWR-SDPE) blade. This includes setup of the Ultripower units, DashBoard connections, the matrix database, and the Ultriscape Multi-Viewer.
- Ultrix Carbonite Mosaic Hardware Setup
  The router and switcher components of Ultrix Carbonite Mosaic must be set up separately before they can work together.
- DashBoard Connection
  Ultrix™ has a separate ethernet connection to DashBoard and appears as a separate node in the DashBoard tree view.
- Video Routing in Ultrix
  Sources and destinations in the router must be connected to the inputs and outputs of the switcher.
- Audio Routing in Ultrix™
  Audio is handled independently in the router and is separate from the switcher. You can output Media-Store and Clip Player audio.
- Routed Tallies
  The switcher must pass tally information to the router so that the router can tally the correct video source that is being passed to the switcher.
- Ultriscape Multi-Viewer
  Some of the outputs from each ME are available as PiPs for the software defined Ultriscape MultiViewer in the router.
