    - To Apply the Defocus Effect to a Key
      The Defocus effect adds a horizontal and vertical blur to the image on the channel.
    - To Apply the Strobe Effect to a Key
      The Strobe effect alternates between freezing and playing the live video of the channel. There are three strobe generators that can be used to apply a serialized strobe to create various pulldown effects.

Preprocessor Effects (3D DVE)

The Preprocessor creates effects such as strobe and defocus that can be applied any DVE channel. Any number of preprocessor effects can be applied to the same DVE channel.

Defocus — adds a horizontal and vertical blur to the image on the channel.
Strobe — alternates between freezing and playing the live video of the channel.
