Browse Running Order Folders

Inception systems routinely contain a very large number of running orders. Folders in the RO Manager can help organize running orders to match your workflow, and enable quicker running order access.

Users must have permission to view folders. Administrators can set user permissions for individual folders.

To browse running order folders

  1. Tap img Folders above the ROs list.

    The RO Manager displays the available folders.

  2. In the Folders list, tap the Folder whose contents you want to view.

    The ROs list displays the running orders contained in the selected folder. The titlebar displays the folder name.

  3. You can navigate the Folders list as follows:

    • Tap a running order to view the stories contained in the selected running order in the RO Viewer. For information on viewing the stories in a running order, refer to the View Running Order Stories topic.

    • Tap img Folders in the titlebar to return to the Folders list.

    • Tap < (Back) in the titlebar to return to the previous screen.

Control Content Display Level

By default, selecting a folder only displays the running orders directly contained in the folder. The ROs list does not display running orders contained in sub-folders. You can select the level of running orders displayed by the ROs list. The available display levels are as follows:

  • Only display the running orders directly contained in the selected folder.

  • Display the running orders contained in the selected folder and the running orders contained in all the sub-folders within the selected folder.

To control the running order display level

  1. Tap img Folders above the ROs list.

    The RO Manager displays the available folders.

  2. Tap the Show content in subdirectories slider to toggle the display of running orders in sub-folders as follows:

    • img — display the running orders contained in the selected folder and sub-folders.

    • img — only display the running orders contained in the selected folder.
