System Reset
If required, the system can be reset to return it to a user-defined default setting (RState), or the factory default state. A reset can be performed for the entire system, or individual components.
Custom Reset Settings (RState)
You can customize many of the default system parameters and save them as a user-defined reset settings. These custom reset settings can then be recalled when you want to return the system to a previous state.
To Save a Custom Reset Setting
The Custom Reset Setting, or RState, saves how you want the system to be configured when it powers up, or when you recall the RState manually.

- System Status
  The status menu shows information for various components of the system.
- System Logs
  System logs can be used to identify and diagnose problems. Use this information when contacting Ross Video Technical Support.
- System Identification
  Flash the front menu system display to identify a physical unit in a system rack.
- System Reset
  If required, the system can be reset to return it to a user-defined default setting (RState), or the factory default state. A reset can be performed for the entire system, or individual components.
  - Custom Reset Settings (RState)
    You can customize many of the default system parameters and save them as a user-defined reset settings. These custom reset settings can then be recalled when you want to return the system to a previous state.

      The Custom Reset Setting, or RState, saves how you want the system to be configured when it powers up, or when you recall the RState manually.
    - To Load a Custom Reset Setting (RState)
      The Custom Reset Setting, or RState, is recalled every time the system is powered on, or it can be recalled manually.
  - Factory Default Settings
    You can restore all or part of the system to the factory default state. A factory default returns all installation and personality settings are reset.
- DIP Switches
  The DIP switches allow you to set default IP address and other diagnostic states.

To Save a Custom Reset Setting

The Custom Reset Setting, or RState, saves how you want the system to be configured when it powers up, or when you recall the RState manually.

Click Navigation Menu > Audio Mixer > Memory > RState.
Click the mix layers to select which are defaulted with a system reset.

Tip:
Click the All Audio button to select or de-select all the items in that category.
Click Save RState and Yes.
