3G Video Processor Installation

The 3G Video Processor has an air deflector that must be installed in an up or down position based on the size of the frame it is being installed in.

To Install the 3G Video Processor

Install the air duct in either the up or down position, depending on the size of your frame, and instal it in the correct frame slot.

Warning Hazardous Voltages: Hazardous voltages are present in this device as long as any of the power supplies are connected to the AC power.
ESD Susceptibility: Static discharge can cause serious damage to sensitive semiconductor devices. Avoid handling the switcher circuit boards in high static environments such as carpeted areas and when synthetic fiber clothing is worn. Touch the frame to dissipate static charge before removing boards from the frame and exercise proper grounding precautions when working on circuit boards.
  1. Remove the frame door and turn the frame power OFF.
  2. Depending on the frame you have, you may have to adjust the position of the air deflector on the 3G Video Processor.
    • Acuity® 8RU = Up Position
    • Acuity® 4RU = DOWN Position


  3. Install the 3G Video Processor into the slots.
