To Set Up a Noise Wash

  1. Press HOME > More > Effects > BKGD Gen Setup and use the ME and Generator knobs to select the background generator you want to set up and use the Generator Type knob to select one of the Wash generators.
    Note: If the switcher is operating in a UHDTV1 video format, only one wash generator is available.
    Tip: There are several ways to get to this menu directly from the key, border, or pattern you are setting up.
  2. Press ME x - Wash 1 or ME x - Wash 1, depending on the wash generator you are using.
  3. Press BKGD type and use the Type knob to select Noise.
