Routers
Routers allow you to manage the many video feeds coming in and out of our facility. A basic router can take any source and put it on any output. This allows you to save inputs on your switcher by having a single set of sources routed from the router to the switcher and then in the router select which sources are routed to those inputs on the switcher. From the switcher, you can control what sources and routed to the destinations connected to the switcher, fire salvos, get sources names, and send tally information back to the switcher.

  This setup information applies to the Encore™, SMS 7000, NVISION®, NVISION® 9000, and Jupiter™.
- Imagine Communications™
  This setup information applies to the EDGE Protocol Translator and VIA32 (256×256 or Smaller).
- Nevion
  This setup information applies to the Nevion VikinX using the ASCII protocol)
- PESA
  This setup information applies to the Cheetah and Cougar using the CPU Link protocol.
- RIEDEL
  This setup information applies to the RIEDEL.
- Ross® Kondor and NK
  This setup information applies to the Ross® Kondor and NK series routers.

  This setup information applies to the Ross® Ultrix™ series routers.

  This setup information applies to the Sierra Video Yosemite.

  This setup information applies to the Halo and Freeway using the SW-P-08 protocol.

  This information will help you set up default mnemonic source names for routers that do not support passing mnemonic names to the switcher.
