Status Definitions

If a board, card, or power supply is not present in the system, it is not shown on the list.

Table 1. Status Icons

Icon	Definition
	Indicates that a component or condition is operating properly.
	Indicates that a condition is outside of the normal operating parameters. For example, the temperature inside the panel may be slightly above or below the safe operating temperature.
	Indicates a major problem with a component or condition that the switcher is monitoring. For example, the temperature inside the control panel could be dangerously above or below the safe operating temperature. The fail icon will also indicate control panel modules that are not properly assigned to rows.

Component	Definition
Frame CPU Temperature	The temperature of the CPU on the Acuity CPU board.
Frame Fans	Are the cooling fans in the frame operating normally, or have a number of fans failed.
Frame FPGA Temperature	The temperature of the FPGA on the Acuity CPU board.
Frame Graphics Buffer FPGA Temperature	Is the graphics buffer FPGA operating in the normal temperature range. If the graphics buffer goes over temperature, it is shut down and a warning message is shown on the display.
Frame Power Supply	Are there enough power supplies in the frame, are they operating normally, or is one, or more, of them failing. If the status for the power supply is Temperature not available, the temperature sensor in the power supply is not functioning normally.
Frame Present	A frame has been detected and is communicating with the control panel. If the message, Unsupported frame board configuration. is displayed, one or more of the boards in the frame is in the wrong slot.
Frame Uptime	The length of time that the frame CPU has been up and running.
I/O Card	The status of the various Ultrix™ I/O blades in the router.
Panel and Frame Software Versions	Is the software version on the control panel the same as the software version on the frame. An upgrade must to be performed so that both the frame and the control panel are on the same software version.
Panel OS Version	What is the current version of the Operating System running on the control panel Control Panel CPU module and is up to date.
Reference	Is the current input reference format properly locked. If the reference is not locked, the time when reference was lost is noted.
SDPE Blade	Is the SDPE blade detected in a particular slot.
SDPE Blade Temperature	The temperature SDPE blade is operating at.
Ultrix Crosspoint	Is the Ultrix™ crosspoint matrix being detected and is communicating with the switcher.
Ultrix Present	Is the Ultrix™ application being detected.
Ultrix Reference	Is the router passing reference information to the switcher.
Ultrix Trigger	The router trigger that the switcher is using and the video format it is set to. The trigger format must be the same format the switcher is operating in.
