Browse Story Folders

Inception systems routinely contain a very large number of stories. Folders in the Story Browser can help organize stories to match your workflow, and enable quicker story access.

Users must have permission to view folders. Administrators can set user permissions for individual folders.

To browse story folders

  1. Tap img Folders above the Story list.

    The Story Browser displays the available folders.

  2. In the Folders list, tap the Folder whose contents you want to view.

    The Story list displays the stories contained in the selected folder. The titlebar displays the folder name.

  3. You can navigate the Folders list as follows:

    • Tap a story to view the selected story content in the Story Viewer. For information on viewing stories, refer to the View Story Content topic.

    • Tap img Folders in the titlebar to return to the Folders list.

    • Tap < (Back) in the titlebar to return to the previous screen.

Control Content Display Level

By default, selecting a folder only displays the stories directly contained in the folder. The Story list does not display stories contained in sub-folders. You can select the level of stories displayed by the Story list. The available display levels are as follows:

  • Only display the stories directly contained in the selected folder.

  • Display the stories contained in the selected folder and the stories contained in all the sub-folders within the selected folder.

To control the story display level

  1. Tap img Folders above the Story list.

    The Story Browser displays the available folders.

  2. Tap the Show content in subdirectories slider to toggle the display of stories in sub-folders as follows:

    • img — display the stories contained in the selected folder and sub-folders.

    • img — only display the stories contained in the selected folder.
