Frame Simulator
The frame simulator uses a VM VirtualBox Virtual Machine to run the Carbonite Black software application. The simulator cannot pass video, but can be used to create offline switcher sets, prepare for upcoming shows, or training.
To Run the Frame Simulator
Run the sim to obtain the IP address that you will point DashBoard to.

Run the sim to obtain the IP address that you will point DashBoard to.

Launch VM VirtualBox.
Click on the Carbonite Black Sim in the Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager.
Click Start to start the Carbonite Black SIM.

A separate window will open up as the simulator starts. Wait for the application to finish.
When the simulator is up and running the Ubuntu® version is shown at the top with the IP address of the simulated Carbonite Black frame (in the example below it is [192.168.1.23]).
