To Configure Video Concealment from DashBoard

The video concealment settings tell the system how to react when a video concealment is triggered.

  1. From the DashBoard tree view for the AirCleaner-2, expand the Abekas node and double-click Config Panel.
  2. Click on the Concealments tab.

  3. In the VIDEO CONCEALMENT EFFECT area, select how the system reacts to a video concealment button trigger.
    Concealment Description
DEFOCUS VIDEO The unwanted video has a defocus filter applied when the video concealment is triggered.
    1. In the LEVEL field, enter the amount of defocus (0-100%) that you want to apply to the unwanted video.
    2. In the RAMP field, enter the amount of time that you want for the defocus to be fully applied. The defocus will start at 0 and increase until it reaches the set level at the ramp time.
Note: The defocus ramp (RAMP) is applied along with the video reaction time. For example, with a ramp time of 1:00 and a video reaction time of 2:00, the defocus will start to be applied 3:00 before the concealment is triggered.
Tip: To help determine the amount of defocus you need (LEVEL), feed sample video through the system and trigger the concealment. With the concealment applied you can adjust the amount of defocus.
LUMA MATTE The unwanted video is replaced with a black matte when the video concealment is triggered.
    • In the LEVEL field, enter the luminance value you want to apply to the matte (0 = Black, 100 = White).
AUX IN VIDEO The unwanted video is replaced with the AUX IN video when the video concealment is triggered.
  4. Click Apply.
