To Box Mask a Chroma Key

Box masks use a box shape to mask out part of the key.

  1. Click Navigation Menu > Live Assist > Chroma Key and click the CKX button for the chroma key you want to apply the mask to.
  2. Click Mask > Box.
  3. Click Mask Invert to invert the masked area with the unmasked area.

    The portion of the key that was masked out is now visible, and the portion that was visible is masked.

  4. Use the X-Position and Y-Position sliders to position the mask.
  5. Use the Size slider to adjust the size of the mask region.
  6. Use the Left Edge and Right Edge sliders to adjust the position of the left and right sides of the box mask.
  7. Use the Top Edge and Bottom Edge sliders to adjust the position of the upper and lower sides of the box mask.
  8. Use the Edge Softness slider to adjust the softness of the edges of the box mask.
