- DashBoard
  DashBoard provides the main menu system to the switcher.
- Role Based Access Control
  The Ross Platform Manager allows for user authentication and role based access through DashBoard. Once set up in DashBoard, Ross Platform Manager allows for control over who can control Ultrix Carbonite Mosaic based on the roles individual users are assigned to.
- SoftPanel
  SoftPanel provides you with a graphical interface to the menu system and control surfaces of the switcher. This allows you to setup and control the switcher without a control panel.
- Ultritouch
  The 2RU rack mountable Ultritouch adaptable system control panel allows you to control some aspects of switcher operation using a DashBoard interface.
- Safe Power Down/Restart
  Safely shut down the switcher application so that it can be powered off or restarted.
  - To Shut Down the Switcher
    Shutdown the switcher application in preparation for powering the system off.
  - To Restart the Switcher
    Restart the switcher application.
  - To Restart/Reboot the System

Restart the switcher application.

Note:

Restarting the switcher application does not restart the hardware and is not the same as powering the system off and on again.

Click Navigation Menu > Status / Power > Power
Click Restart Switcher.
Click OK.

The switcher application will restart.
