To Garbage Mask a Chroma Key

You must have a garbage mask source assigned to the chroma key source to be able to apply the mask.

Refer to To Assign a Garbage Mask to an Input for information on assigning a garbage mask source to a chroma key source.

  1. Click Navigation Menu > Live Assist > Chroma Key and click the CKX button for the chroma key you want to apply the mask to.
  2. Click Mask > External.
  3. Click Mask Invert to invert the masked area with the unmasked area.

    The portion of the key that was masked out is now visible, and the portion that was visible is masked.
