Switcher Mode Resources
When the switcher is operating in a UHDTV1 video format, the number of available resources is reduced to provide the additional processing power required for UHDTV1 production. The following table provides a quick overview of how the resources are re-allocated.
| Mosaic HD | Mosaic UHD | |
|---|---|---|
| MiniME™ Engines | 10 | 6 |
| Keyers per MiniME™ | 4 | 4 |
| 2D DVE Channels Switcher Wide | 18 | 8 |
| I/O MultiViewer (Max)2 | 2 | 1 |
| Input FSFCs (Max)2 | 24 | 7 |
| Output FCs (Max)2 | 10 | 4 |
| Frame Delay (Max Frames) | 13 | 7 |
| Proc Amp/Color Correctors (Max)2 | 34 | 7 |
| Media-Store Channels (Video3) | 24 | 74 |
| SDI Video Inputs | 24 | 18 |
| SDI Video Outputs | 146 | 126 |
Notes:
1 Each Canvas consumes MiniME™ engines to generate the output. The number of Canvas outputs that are available depends on the number of MiniME™ engines that are available.
2 Software options are required to be installed to activate the maximum number of resources.
3 When a media item with an alpha is loaded into a channel, the alpha is loaded into the next channel. A media item with alpha uses 2 channels.
4 An FSFC must be assign to an input so that it can then be configured as a Media-Store.
6 Not all outputs are configurable.
