MADI Setup

Supported SFPs and audio output mapping.

The MADI interface supports an SFP transceiver module using the AES10-1991, AES10-2003, and AES10-2008 specifications for a maximum of 56 or 64 audio channels, depending on the specification.

Note: The MADI interface is only available with the Audio Mixer software license (CUF3-RAVE-AUDIO).

The MADI port has been tested with the following SFP modules:

  • Embrionix EB06HDRT-MN-MADI (Ross Ordering Code SFP-MADI-COAX)
  • Embrionix GO2949-85CL (Ross Ordering Code SFP-MADI-850MM)

MADI Inputs

Audio channels from the MADI SFP must be assigned to an audio fader for them to be available in the switcher. Refer to To Set Up Audio Faders for more information on setting up audio faders.

MADI Outputs

Audio channels to the MADI SFP are fixed to specific audio sources from the switcher.
