To Set Up a Source Name

Source names are restricted to eight characters in length.

Note: You must use the Configuration menu DashBoard to set the names for a Carbonite Black 109 frame without a panel.
  1. Click Navigation Menu > Configuration > Inputs > Physical if you are naming a physical input, or Internal if you are naming an internal input.
  2. Enter a new name in the text box for the video input that you want to name.
  3. Click on the Size button and select the size of the font for the mnemonic display.
    • Large — first two characters are shown
    • Medium — all eight (8) characters are shown on two lines with four characters on the top line
    • Small — all eight (8) characters are shown on two lines with six characters on the top line
  4. Click on the Color button and select the color you want to use for the background of the mnemonic display.
  5. Click the Inverse button and click Yes to invert the background color and the font color, or No to not invert the colors.
