The female DB9 serial connectors on the RS422 Control Breakout Cable support the RS-422 transmission standard.

The EIA Standard RS-297-A describes the use of the XLR3 for balanced audio signal applications.

There are two AES audio ports on the back of the server providing 8-track AES inputs and outputs. Each AES input and output can be assigned to an available video channel using the internal Audio Router (refer to Audio Router Setup). Both ports have the same pinouts.
