To Configure the Video Reaction Time from the Chassis Menu
This allows the system to compensate for the amount of time it takes for a user to see a violation and press the VIDEO concealment button. The starting point for the video concealment is back-timed (set back) by this amount of time to compensate for the reaction time.
-
Turn the SELECT knob to Video Reaction 1 or Video Reaction 2, depending on the video reaction you want to set.
- Video Reaction 1 — the video reaction offset for User 1.
- Video Reaction 2 — the video reaction offset for User 2. The number of users must be set to two for this parameter to be available.
-
Turn the SET knob to select the amount of reaction time (0 to max) in seconds.
The maximum amount of delay time available depends on the model of AirCleaner-2 you have and the video format you are working in. The higher the resolution, the less time is available.
Tip: Although it may be tempting to program an extremely large reaction time, there are pitfalls of doing so. A very large reaction time can cause the concealment trigger to be advance so far ahead of the actual violation that a large amount of non-violation content will be concealed.
