Color Picker
The color picker allows you to quickly select the color that you want to use for a border, background, matte, or a button color scheme. To select a color, you can either select the color you want on the color wheel, or expand the color picker to allow you to select a color based on the HSL/RGB values, the web-safe color name, or the eyedropper. A fixed palette of default colors is also shown.
To expand or collapse the color picker, press the <> button.
Use one of the following methods to select a color and press OK:
- Color Wheel — click on a position on the outer wheel to select a hue, and click on a position in the triage to select the saturation and luminance.
- HSL — use the Hue, Sat, and Lum knobs, or fields, to select the color you want to use.
- RGB — use the Red, Green, and Blue fields to enter the color you want to use.
- Color Name — enter the hexadecimal value for the HTML color name you want to use. For example, #FF0000 is the value for red.
- Eyedropper — click on the eyedropper icon and then click on a color on the menu that you want to use.
- Palette — click on the default color that you want to use.
