Frame Over-Temperature Shutdown
In the event that the frame over-heats, the switcher can be set to shutdown boards to prevent damage. When the frame over-heats, a warning is provided with the option to over-ride the shutdown. If you do not cancel the shutdown in 15 minutes, the frame will shutdown the boards automatically.
Frame over-heating can be caused by a high ambient temperature in the equipment rack room, poor airflow through the frame fan filter, or failing frame or power supply fans.
After the frame has shutdown the boards, you must correct the conditions that caused the over-heating and restart the frame.
