Use Biometric Login

You can configure the Inception app to use biometrics to log back in after Inception automatically logs you out after 5 minutes of inactivity. The biometrics, face ID or finger print, that you can use for login depend on your mobile device. The Settings & About screen contains the option to control using biometrics for login.

To use biometric login

  1. In the bottom toolbar, tap img Settings.

  2. In the ACCOUNT section of the Settings & About screen, tap the slider to the right of the Require biometric on saved login option to turn biometric login On.

    • img — On, use biometric login.

    • img — Off, use login credentials. Turning Off the Biometric Login option also clears the Remember Me check box on the Log In screen.

  3. Tap Log Out.

  4. In the Log out of Inception dialog, tap Log Out.

  5. On the Login screen, enter your Inception password in the Password box.

  6. Select the Remember Me check box so that you do not need to enter your Access Code and login credentials to log back in after Inception automatically logs you out.

  7. Tap Log in.

    The next time Inception logs you out after 5 minutes of inactivity, your mobile device will use biometrics to log you in to the Inception app.
