To Assign an Output Source to an Output BNC

  1. Press HOME > Setup > Installation > Output > Output BNCs.
  2. Use the Output knob to select the output BNC you want to set up.
  3. Use the Source Group and Source knobs to select the source you want to assign to the output.

    System Outputs Program The main program output, the output of the highest number ME.
    Preview The main preview output, the output of the highest number ME.
    PV w/ OVL The main preview output with preview overlay, the output of the highest number ME. (not available in UHDTV1)
    PV w/o OVL The main preview output without preview overlay, the output of the highest number ME.
    ME Outputs ME X PGM Y The configurable program outputs A through F of the selected ME.
    ME X PV Y The configurable preview output A or B of the selected ME.
    ME X ST Y The output of the selected ME-Store.
    ME X LkAhd The Look Ahead Preview output of the selected ME.
    MultiViewers MVXA/B The output of head A/B of the select MultiViewer.
    Global-Stores GlobalStoreX The output of the selected Global-Store channel.
    Aux Monitor Aux Monitor The program output of the active aux bus. This only applies to an aux bus selected on an internal panel row.
    Aux Bus Follows Aux Bus Outputs X:Y The output of the selected aux bus.
    Inputs BNC X The output of the selected input video source. The input source is routed directly to the output.
    ME Bus Follows ME X PGM The same source as is active on the program bus of the selected ME.
    ME X PST The same source as is active on the preview bus of the selected ME.
    ME X KEYY The video, or fill, of the same source as is active on the selected key bus of the selected ME.
    ME X KEYYAlpha The alpha of the same source as is active on the selected key bus of the selected ME.
    ME X UTIL1/2 The same source as is active on the selected utility bus.
    Input MultiViewers MV InX The output of the input MultiViewer for the video input board in the selected slot.
    Extended Inputs X21 The output of the extra input 21 on the Evertz® IP Input board. The input source is routed directly to the output.
    Aux Mix Outputs (fixed) These items are fixed to the outputs of the AuxKey assigned to the selected output BNCs.
    Mix/DSK Output (fixed) These items are fixed to the outputs of the Mix/DSK option.
    MultiViewer 3D DVE MVX DVEY The output of each DVE channel resource from the Floating 3D DVE.
  4. Use the Color Gamut buttons to set the color gamut conversion you want to apply to the output.
    Note: There are restrictions on the types of HDR and color gamut conversion you can do, and you can adjust the scaling of the conversion. Refer to High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Wide Color Gamut (WCG) Conversion for more information.
    • BT.709 — color gamut recommended for HD video signals.
    • BT.2020 — wide color gamut recommended for UHDTV1 video signals.
  5. Use the Dynamic Range buttons to set the dynamic range conversion you want to apply to the output.
    • SDR — Standard Dynamic Range.
    • HLG — Hybrid Log Gamma.
    • PQ — Perceptual Quantizer.
    • S-Log3Sony® S-Log3.
  6. Press HOME > Confirm.
