InfoMap

The Online Help system included with Streamline contains the following information:

•Procedures for frequently performed Streamline tasks

•Descriptions of Streamline interface elements

•Links to related procedures and help topics

Use one of the following methods to quickly and easily access Online Help while working with Inception:

•Click or tap the Main_Toolbar_-_Help.jpg Help icon in the main toolbar of the user interface.

•Click or the Panel_-_Help.jpg Help button in a panel to view a Help topic about that panel.

Document Conventions

Special text formats are used in Help topics to identify parts of the user interface, text that a user must type, or a sequence of menus and submenus that must be followed to reach a particular command.

Bold text 

Bold text identifies a user interface element such as a dialog box, menu item, or button.

 

For example:

In the Slug column, type a slug name for the story.

 

Bold italic text 

Bold italic text identifies a placeholder or variable value.

 

For example, if a table cell reads “Create story_type Story”, story_type is a placeholder. Replace story_type with the actual story type.

 

Courier text 

Courier text identifies text that a user must type.

 

For example:

In the Username box, type postgres.

 

Hypertext 

Identifies a hyperlink to a related topic.
