Edit Search-Based Feed Parameters

If a Search-Based feed does not gather the content that you thought it would, you can edit the parameters of the feed. From the Feed Viewer, you can edit the parameters of a Search-Based feed, a Mass Relevance feed, or an RSS feed.

To configure a searched based feed

1.Open on of the following types of searched-feeds in a Feed Viewer:

Icon_-_Burst_Feed_Search.jpg — Burst

Icon_-_Mass_Relevance_Feed.jpg — Mass Relevance

Icon_-_Facebook_Feed_Search.jpg — Facebook

Icon_-_RSS_Feed.jpg — RSS

Icon_-_Flickr_Feed_Search.jpg — Flickr

Icon_-_Twitter_Feed_Search.jpg — Twitter

Icon_-_Instagram_Feed_Search.jpg — Instagram

Icon_-_Wires_Feed_Search.jpg — Wires

2.In the toolbar, click or tap the Feed_Viewer_-_Toolbar_-_Configure.jpg Configure icon.

The Edit page opens for the Search-Based feed.

3.Edit feed settings as required.

If you change the search query, any items returned by the previous query remain in the feed. Feeds display gathered content in chronological order; therefore, the top of the feed displays the results returned by the edited search query.

4.After completing the required feed setting edits, click Save.

The Feeds tab opens.

5.Click OK to return to the Feed Viewer.

6.To view the results of your feed edits, close and reopen the edited feed.

The Feed Viewer displays content based on the edited feed.
